Nigerian Police rescues 10-year old girl, abducted and sold for N800,000
The Nigerian police, Anambra command has rescued a 10-year-old girl abducted from her parents in Akwa Ibom state.
The victim whose name was Favour Asuquo before her new parents renamed her to Faith Ezeukwu was kidnapped in 2018.

Confirming the report, the Police spokesperson, Anambra command, SP Haruna Mohammed said the the victim was rescued by the detectives attached to 33 division, Onitsha following intelligence report on 21st of February 2020.

He further stated that investigations revealed that the child real name was changed in an effort to hide her real identity.
He revealed that the kidnapper sho sold the child to her new parent is currently on the run.
Meanwhile the victim’s biological parents are advised to come forward or anyone who can identify the victim to come forward.
