A suspected Lebanese internet fraudster arrested in Lagos over N19 billion fraud

A Lebanese identified as Hamza Koudeih has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission in his apartment at the Eko Atlantic Pearl Tower, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Koudeih was arrested for his alleged involvement in internet fraud.

The spokesperson for the EFCC, Mohammed Rabo said Actionable intelligence received from local and international law enforcement agencies revealed that Koudeih alongside Mompha are high valued targets in Organised Syndicate Network.

According to the EFCC, Koudeih was found hiding in the ceiling of his N1.8 billion apartment in Victoria Island.

He is suspected to have laundered N19 billion through two firms, CHK properties and THK Services Limited.
