Beyonce features Shatta Wale, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Burna Boy, Guilty Beats & Mr Eazi on ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album.

American songwriter and actress Beyonce born Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter has featured Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale on ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ Album.

Tekno, Yemi Alade, Wizkid Burna Boy, Guilty Beats and Mr. Eazi are also featured on the album while Shatta Wale is also featured on track 11.

The LP features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, Childish Gambino, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Pharrell.

A statement by Walt Disney announced on Tuesday (July 9) read, “The album will feature a number of global recording artists and “steeped in the sounds of Africa”.

The post from Shatta Wale witnessed a comment from his former rival Stonebwoy congratulating the “Dancehall Naa” saying “To the World!! 🇬🇭”, the comment since then receive close to half a million reactions.

Just Announced: “The Lion King: The Gift,” a new album of songs featuring global recording artists and steeped in the sounds of Africa, produced and curated by @Beyonce Knowles-Carter, will be released July 19. “Spirit,” the single from the album and from the soundtrack for The Lion King, will be available later tonight.
