South African government to ease off Entry Visa requirement to Ghana.
South Africa is easing off visa requirement to Ghana. This was announced today in a series of connected tweets posted on the official twitter account of the country’s home affairs.
The tweet state that the country has ease off visa requirements to 75 out of the 193 countries that are member of the united Nations, 16 of this countries are in Africa, while 59 are from all over the world.
Tourism will soar if we relax visa requirements for entry into South Africa. We know that Tourism is very important for job creation, Minister of Home Affairs, Aaron Motsoaledi said.

Countries that will now be able to enter South Africa, visa-free are :
Sao Tome and Principe
United Arab Emirates
The Office of the Home Affairs further said
We will immediately enter into discussions with them about how a visa-free regime will work.
We still have some homework to do for 3 countries whose combined populations make up close to 30% of the world’s population i.e. China, India and Nigeria.
While we are busy tackling the matter of the three countries.
For now, we shall this financial year, increase 2½ times the number of people who work for Home Affairs to process visas in both China and India.
We shall increase 2 times the number of people who process visas to our country in Nigeria.
Ghana already have visa on arrival agreements with South Africa.
