Ghanaian afropop artiste, Stonebwoy apologised to the public, the security services, the Ghana’s police service and the counter-terrorism command for pulling out a gun on stage at the just ended 20th edition of the Ghana Music Awards.
However some has been calling for his arrest on social media, saying he could have killed or be killed for his behaviour.

During the Award night Shatta Wale stormed the stage with his thugs when Stonebwoy was announced as the winner of the reggae dancehall artiste of the year category.
They were arrested and charged to court for offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace and display of a firearm in public without permission, after the incident at the VGMA.
Presiding over the case, Justice Isaac Addo granted the two bail at the cost of GHc 50,000 with one surety each. The case is adjourned to June 20, 2019.
The organisers had released a statement to the media, Charterhouse said all the nominees were supposed to sit at a designated area, but Shatta refused to sit there and was uncontrollable.”
CharterHouse Ghana, the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, said the security protocols at the awards night was “adequate”.
