12 suspected internet fraudster arrested in Lagos
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) on thursday arrested 12 suspected Internet fraudsters in Lagos.
They were arrested in a three bedroom apartment where they were being trained on how to become an internet fraudster.
The suspected internet fraudster attempted to escape by hiding in the roof but were eventually caught.
According to the EFCC, the apartment is being used as a yahoo yahoo school where internet fraudsters learn how to defraud people on the internet.
Laptops and mobile phones recovered from the suspects.
EFCC said they were acting on a tip off.
